We are BEST!!!

ChoBOT is an emerging student robotics team from the Secondary Industrial School in Chomutov, founded with a clear mission — to go beyond the boundaries of traditional education and take on challenges at the international level. The team’s name reflects both the regional identity of Chomutov and the spirit of robotics, while our symbol — a robotic octopus — represents strength, versatility, and determination.

Our journey began in 2025 by joining the regional project rur.ujep.cz, which connects secondary schools with university, industry professionals, and technology enthusiasts. Through this initiative, we gained our first hands-on experience in designing and building robots, as well as teamwork, planning, and presenting technical solutions.

We are now actively preparing to enter the prestigious international competition FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), where tens of thousands of students from around the world compete in a unique blend of technology, creativity, and fair play.
Our goal is not only to build a competitive robot, but also to establish a lasting foundation for robotics education at our school and in the wider region.
