ChoBOT<\/strong> is an emerging student robotics team from the Secondary Industrial School in Chomutov<\/strong>, founded with a clear mission \u2014 to go beyond the boundaries of traditional education and take on challenges at the international level<\/strong>. The team\u2019s name reflects both the regional identity of Chomutov and the spirit of robotics<\/strong>, while our symbol \u2014 a robotic octopus<\/strong> \u2014 represents strength, versatility, and determination<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our journey began in 2025 by joining the regional project rur.ujep.cz<\/a>, which connects secondary schools with university, industry professionals, and technology enthusiasts. Through this initiative, we gained our first hands-on experience in designing and building robots<\/strong>, as well as teamwork, planning, and presenting technical solutions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are now actively preparing to enter the prestigious international competition FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC)<\/strong>, where tens of thousands of students from around the world compete in a unique blend of technology, creativity, and fair play<\/strong>.
Our goal is not only to build a competitive robot<\/strong>, but also to establish a lasting foundation for robotics education<\/strong> at our school and in the wider region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team consists of 7 students from the secondary technical school in Chomutov and our mentor, who is also our teacher. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
